On the Find page, select the “Find” card.
Type “VLC” and press the Center button to select it.
On the “VLC for Fire” app page, select “Download” to start downloading the app.
Once the installation is complete, return to the Fire TV home page. Go to the Apps & Channels tab on the right side (it looks like three squares and a plus sign). Press the middle button to open it.
To move the highlight on the VLC Media Player app card, press the Options button on the remote. This button looks like three horizontal lines. ..
To move a photo or video, select it and click on the “Move” button on the right side of the menu. ..
To quickly access the VLC Media Player card at the top of the screen, move it to the highlight bar. This way, you can easily access the VLC app later.
Then enable sharing on your Windows computer
To open the Control Panel, click the Start button, type “Control Panel” and press Enter.
In the Network and Sharing Center window, select “ shares”.
Click on the “Share this document with” button. Enter the name of the person you want to share this document with and click on the “Share” button.
In the “Network Discovery” section of your current profile, enable the “Enable Network Discovery” option and check the box next to “Enable automatic configuration of network connected devices”. Also enable the “Enable file and printer sharing” option. Then click on the “Save Changes” button.
When finished, you can close the Network and Sharing Center window.
In the “Location” field, type a path to where you want to share the videos. For example, if you want to share videos from your desktop, type C:\Desktop\Videos. Click on the “Share” button and select “File Share” from the list of options. In the “File Share” window, click on the “Browse” button and select the videos you want to share. Click on the “Share” button and select “File Share” from the list of options. Then, using File Explorer, find the folder that contains your videos. Right-click on that folder and select “Properties.” In the “Location” field, type a path to where you want to share your videos (for example: C:\Desktop\Videos). Click on the “Share” button and select “File Share” from the list of options. In the “File Share” window, click on the “Browse” button and select your videos you want to share. Click on the “Share” button and select “File Share” from the list of options. ..
In the “Sharing” tab, click on the “Share” button and select the “Facebook” button.
To share your computer with other people, select your Windows user account from the list and click the “Share” button in the background. ..
Your computer is sharing a folder on your hard drive with other users. To view or change the contents of the shared folder, click “Yes” at the User Account Control prompt. The confirmation window will state: “Your folder is shared. Below the folder name, you will see the folder address (the network path) appear in grey. Click “Done” to close the window.” ..
