Per up sharing local folder between Mac and Windows, follow these steps

Create a new share-only user account

Select the Users and Groups tab and select the Add User button Enter a name for your new user and click the Add User button

In the left pane, you’ll see all the current users already set up on your Mac, including the current user account you’re signed in with. It’s usually best to create a new share-only user for your PC to access your Mac. Just click on the + sign which is located just below the Login Options button

Access your Mac shared folder on PC

Type “cmd” and hit enter.

A dialog opens where you need to enter the IP address (the network address) of your Mac. The format should be ipaddress. After that, just click OK to continue and open your Mac’s shared folder.

If you don’t know your Mac’s IP address, you can use Network Utility to find out (just enter the network utility in Spotlight) and also in the Network item in System Preferences.
