There are a few different ways to write a text message and send it later. You can schedule a text message, use a workaround, or use a phone app.

Some Android users have created a scheduling function in their default SMS app. However, iPhone users don’t have this option. If you’re interested in sending scheduled messages to your customers, we’ve added a section that explains the most efficient method (and not limited to yours).

Use the scheduled app to send text messages on iPhone

Automatic submission mode:

To send text messages from your iPhone, you’ll need to purchase a $3.99 per month premium plan. If you don’t have a premium plan, you can still send text messages by using the free messaging service, FaceTime.

Schedule messages:

The free version of the app allows you to add the recipient, enter the text message, and set the time to send the message. It will remind you of the scheduled time to send messages. Create a new message.

You can schedule the message to send at a specific time by clicking the ‘Schedule Time’ button.

Exit by tapping anywhere on the screen. You need to opt for a premium plan to click the ‘Auto submit’ button.

Use the ‘Shortcuts’ app to schedule text messages on the iPhone

Secondly, you must enable the ‘Untrusted shortcuts’ option in the Safari browser. Thirdly, you must add a new shortcut to your home screen that points to the untrusted shortcut.

Then, open the shortcut and type in the following: send text delayed

To add an untrusted shortcut to your computer, tap the ‘Add Untrusted Shortcut’ option in the ‘Shortcuts’ app. ..

To send a text delayed, go to “Shortcuts” and click on the “Send text delayed” shortcut.

In the Messages tab, tap the ‘Allow access’ option to allow your contacts and other people you know to access your account.

To send a text message to someone who is offline, you need to tap on ‘Delayed Text Shortcut’ and choose the recipient. ..

To schedule a message for future delivery, enter the date and time you want the message to be delivered, and press the ‘OK button. ..

Please send the message at the given time and confirm your participation by pressing ‘OK’.

Now you need to make sure your iPhone is unlocked and the ‘Shortcuts’ app is open. If both conditions are met, the scheduled message will be sent when the time comes.
