How to Password Protect Your Photos on an Android Device – Guide

Hide photos with password

There is a way to hide your sensitive media behind a locked folder on Google Photos. This can be done by creating a folder called “Photos” on your Google account and adding all of your photos to it. Then, when you want to access your photos, you will need to create a password for the “Photos” folder and enter it into the Google Photos app.

To define Up Google Photos locked folder

  1. Log in to your account and click on the “Photos” tab.
  2. Scroll down and click on the “Photos” folder.
  3. Click on the “Set up photo library” button.

Move photos to locked folder

To move your photos to the Locked Folder, you first need to set up the folder and then know how to move your photos later.

Save directly from Pixel camera to locked folder

  1. Open the Camera app on your phone.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the camera screen and select “Save as.”
  3. Paste the path of your camera scroll photos into the text field and click “Save.”
