How to Prevent Tiles From Resizing in Group FaceTime – Guide

Apple’s latest update for the mobile OS, iOS 13.5, allows you to turn off the changing speech bubbles in FaceTime calls. By doing so, you’ll be able to have a more clear and concise conversation with your friends.

Update software on iPhone / iPad

Apple has released a new update for its iPhone and iPad that includes a new feature called “Automatic resizing or moving blocks in FaceTime group.” If you’re not using this feature, you need to update your device to iOS 13.5 or iPadOS 13.5 in order to disable it.

If you’re using an iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app and tap General. Then tap About. You should see the current iOS or iPadOS version next to the software version.

If you have iOS / iPadOS 13.4 or earlier installed, please update your device by going to the Software Update screen and tapping Download & Install to update your device with the latest system software.

Disable automatic highlighting on iPhone / iPad

Turn off speech (auto-highlight is now off).
