GSmartControl for Windows
To use GSmartControl, first download the program and save it to your desktop. Then open the program and follow the on-screen instructions to set up your computer.
Right-click on GsmartControl and select Run as Administrator.
Agree and install the software.

Windows Explorer opens the C:Program FilesGSmartControl folder and finds the file “smartctl.exe” inside. Double-clicking the file opens it in a new window.
Right-click on the gsmartcontrol.exe file and select Run as administrator.
The program can search and list your hard drive(s) to help you find files and folders.
C: is the drive where your Windows operating system is installed. If you have more than one drive, double-clicking on C: will open the Windows Explorer window and show you all of the folders and files on that drive. ..
Select the “Autotests” tab. Click on the “Get results” button. Enter your name and email address in the text fields. Click on the “Submit” button.
The self-test type should be set to short self-test in order to make the test more efficient.
After the test is complete, click View result. button and copy and paste the content into your answer.
