How to Fix ‘Win­dows 10 Not Receiv­ing Files via Bluetooth’ Issue – Guide

I recently had the same issue with my Windows 10 laptop. I was able to transfer a document from my Android phone to my laptop, but when I tried to do the same thing with a Bluetooth document, it would not work. I could not get the Bluetooth connection to work at all.

There are different versions of Windows 10, and one of the main differences is that there is no Bluetooth support. This means that if you want to send or receive documents through Bluetooth, you will need to use another method. Here, we’ll quickly go through a portion of the well-known techniques that will help you fix that Bluetooth file transfer not completed due to Windows 10 error. To receive Bluetooth files from a paired device to the computer, you will need to first enable Bluetooth in Windows 10. Then, you can use the Bluetooth File Transfer tool to transfer files between your paired devices.

  4. Enter the device’s Bluetooth name and click on “Next”
  5. Click on the “Advanced” button and select the incoming communication port from the list of available ports
  6. Click on “Connect” and wait for your devices to connect ..

and then you can share it with your friends and family.

To send a Bluetooth device to another computer, click ‘Bluetooth’ and then click the device (computer name) you are sending to.

Don’t wait for your mobile device to search for connected devices. The computer will still say, “No nearby devices found.” The save received file dialog will appear, you can choose where you want to store the file. I’m no expert, but I found this one, it works.
