I find the link previews on my iPhone and iPad annoying because they are a huge distraction when I want to use native apps like Safari, Mail, and Notes.

The Mail app doesn’t let you see full URLs when you view links. This means that if you’re in a tight spot with your mobile data plan, you can’t see all the links that are on a website. This can be dangerous because it could mean that the website is malicious and you could be at risk of being infected by it.

To turn off link previews in Safari, you will need to open Safari and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen. Then, under “ Preferences,” select “ Show Link Previews.” If you have trouble following these steps, or if you just want to disable link previews completely, you can try using a third-party app like iLink or Safari Link.

Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad.

When you click on a hyperlink in a web page, the web page opens in a new tab or window. ..

Hide the preview of this article so that you can read it in its entirety.

Safari on iPhone and iPad doesn’t allow you to see link previews when you open a website.

After hiding the previews, you can preview the hyperlink URL by long pressing, which you can copy and paste elsewhere. Views can be reactivated at any time using the same method.

Final note

If you’re using Safari on your iPhone or iPad, you may be seeing previews of links in the address bar. These previews are called Safari Link Previews and they can be disabled by going to Preferences and clicking on the Safari Link Previews tab.
