How to Change Chrome new tab Background Automatically – Guide

Google Chrome Canary can now automatically change the New Tab page background with a new image every day if you enable “Update daily” option in Background collection in NTP v2 customization menu.

Chrome 70 Canary now offers a “daily refresh” toggle on each background collection and is disabled by default. You can insert a collection, select an image and activate the setting. A new image will be applied to the NTP and the next day it will be replaced with a random image from the same collection you chose to update your Chrome New Tab background daily.
