To add page numbers to your document:

  1. Open the document you want to number.
  2. Click the Page Number button on the toolbar (or press Ctrl+P).
  3. Type a page number in the text box, and press Enter.

In the document’s header, click on the “Place cursor” button.

Next, choose Breaks – Next Page from the top menu.

To insert page numbers in a document, choose Insert from the top menu and select Page Numbers. Then choose how you want them to appear in the document: by number or by name.

With the number still highlighted, choose Page Number from the top menu and select Format Page Numbers. Under Page Numbering, choose Start at and select a starting number.

The last step is to delete the first page number and then click on the first page number to create a new numbering sequence.
