The autocomplete feature on Google Search is amazing. It seems like Google is reading your mind, or at least trying to. The search predictions appear on the Google homepage, the address bar in Chrome, the Google app for iOS and Android, and wherever you have the Google search box.

Many Chrome users often complain about the problem of not being able to find good search results after trying to type something. When they type something to search, they end up staring at the search bar waiting for suggestions to appear. This problem can be solved by using the autocomplete feature of Chrome.

  1. Use a different search engine.
  2. Change your Google settings.
  3. Try a different browser extension.

1. Restart Chrome

Chrome is not closing completely. You need to remove it from Task Manager to stop it completely and shut it down.

Task Manager on your Windows PC:

  1. Right-click on the taskbar and select “Task Manager.”
  2. Click on Chrome and click on the End Task button.

7. Disable extensions

8. Reset Chrome settings

Restoring Chrome to its default settings will change the default search engine, start page, new tab page, pinned tabs, content settings, and cookies. The extensions are also disabled. However, your data, including bookmarks, history and saved passwords, will remain intact.

  1. Open Chrome and click on the three lines in the top right corner of the browser window.
  2. Click on “Settings” in the menu that pops up.
  3. Under “Default settings,” click on “Reset.”
  4. In the “Reset settings” dialog box, click on “Reset.” ..
